The AD7401 is a second-order, high-precision sigma-delta modulator with 16-bit accuracy, on-chip digital isolation, and low power consumption. The device utilizes Analog Devices' proprietary Σ-Δ modulator technology to convert an analog input signal into a high-precision, high-speed, single-bit digital data stream. The AD7401 is suitable for AC motor control, data acquisition systems, and A/D isolation replacements.
