Upload a manual

Many of the hardest manuals to find are sitting on someone's hard drive. If you have one that is not in the library, sharing it takes about a minute and no account.

What we accept

  • User manuals, owner's guides, quick start guides, installation and service manuals, parts lists, datasheets and wiring diagrams.
  • PDF files up to 100 MB. A clean original is better than a scan, but a readable scan is welcome.
  • Any language. Complete documents only, please.

What we do not accept

  • Documents marked confidential, internal or under NDA, and anything you obtained under a restriction on sharing.
  • Paid publications that are sold separately, such as commercial repair guides or books.
  • Files containing personal data (names, addresses, serial numbers tied to a person, signed forms).
  • Software, firmware, or anything that is not a document.

What happens next

  1. Review. Uploads are not published automatically. A person checks that the file opens, is what it says it is, and meets the rules above.
  2. Cataloguing. We file it under the right brand and model, and extract the page count, language and text so it can be searched.
  3. Publication. The original PDF is offered for reading and download, unaltered. We do not publish your name or email.

We may decline a file without giving a reason. If a published upload later turns out to infringe someone's rights, it is removed under our copyright policy.
