Analog Devices ADF4159 Frequency Synthesizer Datasheet
The ADF4159 is a 13 GHz fractional‑N frequency synthesizer that uses a 25‑bit fixed modulus to provide sub‑hertz frequency resolution. It integrates a low‑noise digital phase‑frequency detector, a precision charge pump, programmable reference dividers and a Σ‑Δ fractional interpolator, enabling both fast and slow waveform generation for FMCW radar, test equipment and communication infrastructure.
All internal registers are accessed via a simple three‑wire serial interface, and the device operates from 2.7 V–3.45 V analog and 1.62 V–1.98 V digital supplies. The datasheet includes detailed pin descriptions, timing diagrams, absolute maximum ratings, thermal resistance data, ESD specifications, and application examples such as FMCW radar and automotive‑grade implementations. This manual is written in Chinese.
