STMicroelectronics L9951/L9951XP Rear Door Actuator Driver Datasheet
The L9951 and L9951XP are microcontroller-driven, multifunctional rear door actuator drivers designed for automotive applications. These devices can drive up to two DC motors and two grounded resistive loads using three half bridges and two high-side drivers. Key features include short circuit protection, over-temperature protection, open-load diagnostics, and overload diagnostics for all outputs.
The devices offer programmable PWM control and a programmable softstart function to manage loads with higher inrush currents. They also include a current monitor output for high-side drivers and a charge pump output for reverse polarity protection. Operation is controlled via an integrated standard serial peripheral interface (SPI).
