The TI PTHxx010Y series are a series of ready-to-use switching regulator modules specifically designed for bus termination in DDR and QDR memory applications. They operate from either a 3.3 V, 5 V or 12 V input voltage and provide 62 W/in3 power density. These modules feature up to 91% efficiency, 15 A output current (12 A for 12 V input), output overcurrent protection (output tracks the system VREF) (nonlatching, auto-reset), DDR and QDR compatibility, VTT standby on/off inhibit, POLA™ compatibility, undervoltage lockout and operating temperature range of –40°C to 85°C.

This document introduces a series of switching regulator modules designed by Texas Instruments for bus termination in DDR and QDR memory applications. These modules feature high efficiency, VTT bus termination output, output overcurrent protection, and 15A output current.
