TEXAS INSTRUMENTS PTH03010Y PTH05010Y PTH12010Y handbook

The TI PTHxx010Y series are a series of ready-to-use switching regulator modules specifically designed for bus termination in DDR and QDR memory applications. They operate from either a 3.3 V, 5 V or 12 V input voltage and provide 62 W/in3 power density. These modules feature up to 91% efficiency, 15 A output current (12 A for 12 V input), output overcurrent protection (output tracks the system VREF) (nonlatching, auto-reset), DDR and QDR compatibility, VTT standby on/off inhibit, POLA™ compatibility, undervoltage lockout and operating temperature range of –40°C to 85°C.

About this manual

The PTHxx010Y series consists of ready-to-use switching regulator modules from Texas Instruments specifically designed for bus termination in DDR and QDR memory applications. Operating from 3.3-V, 5-V, or 12-V inputs, these modules generate a Vref output that sources or sinks up to 15 A of current (12 A for 12-V input) to accurately track the input voltage. The products feature an actively switched synchronous rectifier output, providing high efficiency and compact size suitable for space-constrained applications.
