About this manual

The PTHxx010Y series are ready-to-use switching regulator modules designed specifically for bus termination in DDR and QDR memory applications. Operating from 3.3-V, 5-V, or 12-V inputs, these modules generate a Vcc output that sources or sinks up to 15 A of current (12 A for 12-V input) to accurately track the Vref input voltage.

Key features include efficiencies up to 91%, output overcurrent protection with auto-reset, and on/off inhibit functionality for standby power savings. The modules are available in both through-hole and surface-mount configurations and meet various safety agency approvals including UL/cUL60950.

Frequently asked questions

What is the maximum output current for a 12-V input?

The module sources or sinks up to 12 A of current when using a 12-V input.

What is the maximum output current for these modules?

The modules can source or sink up to 15 A of current, except for the 12-V input version which provides 12 A.

How does the Inhibit pin control the output voltage?

Applying a low-level ground signal to this input turns off the output voltage, V+.
