M48T201Y and M48T201V are chips that convert low power SRAM into NVRAMs. They are year 2000 compliant and feature a battery low flag, integrated real-time clock, power-fail control circuit, battery, and crystal. The chips also include a watchdog timer, choice of write protect voltages, microprocessor power-on reset, and programmable alarm output active in the battery backed-up mode. The package includes a 44-lead SOIC and SNAPHAT® TOP for direct connection of the battery and crystal.
