Philips PDI1394P24 2-port 400 Mbps Physical Layer Interface Datasheet
The PDI1394P24 is an integrated circuit designed as a digital and analog transceiver for implementing two-port nodes in cable-based IEEE 1394-1995 and/or 1394a networks. It provides full support for the IEEE 1394-1995 Standard, P1394a-2000 Standard, Firewire, and i.LINK implementations.
The device operates with a single 3.3 volt supply and includes features such as connection debounce, multispeed concatenation, and power management capabilities to conserve energy in battery-powered applications. It interfaces with a Link Layer Controller (LLC) via parallel data lines and supports both low-cost bus-holder isolation and optional electrical isolation.
