Philips NE/SE5562 Switched-Mode Power Supply Control Circuit Datasheet

Datasheet 29 pages · 311 KB · EN

The NE/SE5562 is a single‑output control circuit for switched‑mode power supplies, integrating control and protection features such as current limiting, remote on/off, and feed‑forward control. It drives power FETs directly with a 100 mA source/sink output and operates cycle‑by‑cycle up to 600 kHz.

The device is offered in 20‑pin plastic DIP, SO, and ceramic (Cerdip) packages. Two temperature‑grade versions are available: NE (0 °C to +70 °C) and SE (‑55 °C to +125 °C). Electrical characteristics include a 10‑16 V supply range, 100 mA output current, and a 3.80 V internal reference.
