Analog Devices ADN2530 Differential VCSEL Driver Datasheet

Datasheet 21 pages · 571 KB · EN

The Analog Devices ADN2530 is a laser diode driver designed for direct modulation of packaged VCSELs with a differential resistance ranging from 35 Ω to 140 Ω. It features an up to 11.3 Gbps operation speed and utilizes active back-termination to absorb signal reflections, enabling excellent optical eye quality even when the TOSA end is significantly mismatched.

The device allows for programmable modulation and bias currents via MSET and BSET control pins, supporting closed-loop control schemes. It includes an automatic laser shutdown (ALS) feature and operates from -40°C to +100°C in a compact 3 mm x 3 mm LFCSP package.
