About this manual

The ADN2530 is a differential VCSEL driver designed for high‑speed optical transceivers such as 10 Gb Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and SONET. It operates from –40 °C to +100 °C, consumes low power (≈65 mA at 3.3 V) and includes features like active back‑termination, automatic laser shutdown, and cross‑point adjustment.

The device is supplied in a 3 mm × 3 mm LFCSP package with an exposed pad for thermal management. Pin functions include modulation and bias current control (MSET, BSET), cross‑point adjust (CPA), and automatic laser shutdown (ALS). Detailed electrical specifications, pin descriptions, and typical performance graphs are provided in the handbook.
