This document describes the VIPer20A-E SMPS primary I.C. released in June 2006, which features adjustable switching frequency up to 200 kHz, current mode control, soft start and shutdown control, automatic burst mode operation, internally trimmed zener reference, undervoltage lock-out with hysteresis, integrated start-up supply, over-temperature protection, low stand-by current, and adjustable current limitation.
