This document describes the features of the L6562AT transition-mode PFC controller released in March 2009, including guaranteed performance for extreme temperature range, proprietary multiplier design for minimum THD, very accurate adjustable output overvoltage protection, ultra-low start-up current, low quiescent current, digital leading-edge blanking on current sense, disable function on E/A input, 1% internal reference voltage, -600/+800 mA totem pole gate driver with active pull-down, and its applications in PFC pre-regulators such as street lighting and IEC61000-3-2 compliant SMPS (Flat TV, monitors, desktop PC, games).

This file introduces the STEVAL-ILL042V1 LED driver, which uses L6562AT and TSM101 controllers. This driver has high power factor, wide input voltage range, low output voltage ripple and high efficiency.
