ST ST8R00 handbook
The ST8RO0 is a synchronous PWM step-up DC-DC converter designed to provide an output voltage in the range of 6 to 12 V from an input voltage of 4 to 6 V. The device operates at a high switching frequency of 1.7 MHz, allowing for the use of tiny surface-mount components. It requires only an inductor and two capacitors in addition to a resistor divider to set the output voltage.
