Philips PCF2116 Family LCD Controller/Drivers Data Sheet

The Philips PCF2116 family of LCD controller/drivers is designed to drive split-screen dot matrix LCD displays of 1 or 2 lines by 24 characters, or 2 or 4 lines by 12 characters. The device supports a 5x7 character format plus cursor, as well as 5x8 for kana and user-defined symbols. It includes on-chip generation of LCD supply and bias voltages, reducing the need for external components.
