ADCMP580/ADCMP581/ADCMP582 are ultrafast SiGe voltage comparators from Analog Devices. These comparators offer 180ps propagation delay, 25ps overdrive and slew rate dispersion, 8GHz equivalent input rise time bandwidth, 100ps minimum pulse width, 37ps typical output rise/fall, 10ps deterministic jitter (DJ), 200fs random jitter (RJ), -2V to +3V input range with +5V/-5V supplies, on-chip terminations at both input pins, resistor-programmable hysteresis, differential latch control and >70dB power supply rejection. These comparators are suitable for automatic test equipment (ATE), high speed instrumentation, pulse spectroscopy, medical imaging and diagnostics, high speed line receivers, threshold detection, peak and zero-crossing detectors, high speed trigger circuitry and clock and data signal restoration applications.
