SAA5264 and SAA5265 are 10-page and 1-page intelligent teletext decoders produced by Philips Semiconductors. They have a 625-line television decoder, automatic detection of transmitted fast links or service information, screen display, video programming system decoding, wide screen signal decoding, pan-European, Cyrillic, Greek/Turkish and French/Arabic character sets, high-level command interface, high-level command interface with independent fast and remote interface (SAFARI) compatible, 625 and 525 line display, RGB interface to standard color decoder IC, current source, 8-bit open drain input/output (I/O) expander, 5 V tolerance, single 12 MHz crystal oscillator, 3.3 V power supply voltage and other features.
