Maxim MAX3107 SPI/I2C UART with 128-Word FIFOs Datasheet
The MAX3107 is a universal asynchronous UART with 128‑word transmit and receive FIFOs that can be controlled via I²C or high‑speed SPI. It supports data rates up to 24 Mbps, includes an integrated PLL, fractional baud‑rate generator, and automatic flow‑control features such as RTS/CTS and XON/XOFF.
The device is offered in 24‑pin SSOP and 24‑pin TQFN packages for use in portable, industrial, automotive, and medical applications. Low‑power autosleep and shutdown modes reduce consumption to a few tens of microamps, making the MAX3107 suitable for battery‑operated designs.
