Maxim MAX6610/MAX6611 Temperature Sensor and Voltage Reference Datasheet

Datasheet 6 pages · 138 KB · EN

The MAX6610 and MAX6611 are precise, low‑power analog temperature sensors that include a precision voltage reference. They are supplied in a 6‑pin SOT‑23 package and operate over a temperature range of –40 °C to +125 °C, making them suitable for system temperature monitoring, temperature compensation, HVAC, and home‑appliance applications.

Key features include ±1 °C accuracy, a reference output of 2.560 V (MAX6610) or 4.096 V (MAX6611), low supply current (typical 150 µA, 1 µA in shutdown), and the ability to drive loads up to 1 mA on the REF pin and 0.2 µF on the TEMP pin. The devices provide linear temperature‑to‑voltage conversion (10 mV/°C for MAX6610, 16 mV/°C for MAX6611) and include a shutdown pin for power‑saving operation.
