The Maxim MAX3222E, MAX3232E, MAX3237E, MAX3241E and MAX3246E devices are low‑power, high‑speed RS‑232 transceivers with +15 kV ESD protection and operation from a 3.0 V to 5.5 V supply. They feature internal dual charge pumps, shutdown modes with ultra‑low quiescent current, and are offered in compact SO, SSOP, TQFN and UCSP packages.
These transceivers are suited for a range of applications such as printers, smart phones, DSL modems, battery‑powered equipment, and notebook/sub‑notebook computers.
