AD5165 is a ultralow power digital potentiometer from Analog Devices, with a working voltage of 1.8V, a maximum resistance of 100kΩ and supports 256 positions, suitable for battery powered electronic devices, remote utility meter adjustment, mechanical potentiometer replacement, transducer circuit adjustment, automotive electronic equipment adjustment, gain control and offset adjustment, system calibration, VCXO adjustment and other applications.

AD5165 is a compact 2.9 mm × 2.8 mm packaged solution for 256-position adjustment applications. It consumes only 50 nA of standby power, has a 2.7 V to 5.5 V power supply voltage, a 100 kΩ resistance range, a 35 ppm/°C temperature coefficient, a simple 3-wire digital interface, and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. The AD5165 is suitable for applications such as battery-operated electronic adjustment, remote utility meter adjustment, mechanical potentiometer replacement, transducer circuit adjustment, automotive electronic adjustment, gain control and offset adjustment, system calibration, and VCXO adjustment.
