Texas Instruments (TI) has recently identified a problem in the product models listed above related to DLL clock-generation. The DLL may not startup properly when initiated, resulting in the audio master clock not functioning. This issue does not affect applications that do not enable the product’s DLL.

This document describes the features and characteristics of TLV320AIC20, TLV320AIC21, TLV320AIC24, TLV320AIC25, TLV320AIC20K, and TLV320AIC24K products. These products are low-power, highly-integrated, programmable 16-bit, 26KSPS, dual-channel CODECs. They support differential and single-ended analog input/output, stereo 16-bit oversampling sigma-delta A/D converter, and built-in analog functions such as stereo 16-bit oversampling sigma-delta D/A converter, analog and digital sidetone converter, anti-aliasing filter (AAF), programmable input and output gain (PGA), microphone/handset/headset amplifiers, etc. These products also feature selectable FIR/IIR filter, programmable sampling rate, and on-chip FIR, providing 84dB SNR for ADC and 92dB SNR for DAC over 13kHz bandwidth. They are fully compatible with common TMS320® DSP and microcontroller, and support smart time division multiplexed (SMARTDM®) serial port and internally generated master/slave device addresses.
