The MAX1172 analog-to-digital converter (ADC) is a 12-bit monolithic ADC capable of sample rates greater than 30Msps. An on-board input buffer and track/hold function ensure excellent dynamic performance without the need for external components. A 5pF input capacitance minimizes development problems. Logic inputs and outputs are TTL compatible. An over-range output signal is provided to indicate overflow conditions. Output data format is straight binary. Power dissipation is a very low 1.1W with power-supply voltages of +5.0V and -5.2V. The MAX1172 also provides a wide input voltage range of ±2.0V. The MAX1172 is available in a 32-lead ceramic side-brazed package and a 44-lead surface-mount CERQUAD package.

The MAX4501/MAX4502 are single-pole/single-throw (SPST), low-voltage, single-supply, CMOS analog switches. The MAX4501 is normally open (NO). The MAX4502 is normally closed (NC). These CMOS switches can operate continuously with a single supply between +2V and +12V. Each switch can handle Rail-to-Rail® analog signals. The off-leakage current is only 1nA at +25°C or 10nA at +85°C. The digital input has 0.8V and 2.4V logic thresholds, ensuring TTL/CMOS-logic compatibility when using a single +5V supply.
