Maxim MAX3222/MAX3232/MAX3237/MAX3241 Datasheet
The MAX3222, MAX3232, MAX3237, and MAX3241 are low‑dropout RS‑232 transceivers that operate from a 3.0 V to 5.5 V supply using a dual charge‑pump architecture. They require only four 0.1 pF external capacitors and are pin‑compatible with legacy MAX232/MAX242 devices.
Key features include guaranteed data rates of 120 kbps (MAX3222/3232/3241) or up to 1 Mbps in MegaBaud mode (MAX3237), shutdown current below 1 pA, and a variety of TSSOP/SSOP package options.
