Maxim MAX7428/MAX7430/MAX7432A Video Reconstruction Filter and Buffer Datasheet
The MAX7428/MAX7430/MAX7432A family provides low‑cost, high‑performance video reconstruction filters and buffers for standard‑definition video signals. They operate from a single +5 V supply and are specified over a –40 °C to +85 °C temperature range. The devices support NTSC, PAL, and SDTV video standards and drive two 150 Ω video loads with a 6th‑order low‑pass filter.
Key features include a Maxim Single‑Pin Bus (MSPB) digital control interface, four programmable high‑frequency boost levels, selectable filter bypass, and three package options (8‑pin SOT23, 10‑pin µMAX, 14‑pin TSSOP). Applications cover set‑top boxes, DVD players, hard‑disk recorders, camcorders, and other consumer video equipment.
