Maxim Integrated MAX3093E/MAX3094E Quad RS-422/RS-485 Receiver Datasheet
The MAX3093E and MAX3094E are rugged, low‑power, quad RS‑422/RS‑485 receivers designed for harsh environments. They feature extensive ESD protection (±15 kV Human Body Model, ±8 kV Contact Discharge, ±15 kV Air‑Gap) and a fail‑safe output that defaults to a logic high when inputs are open.
Both devices are available in space‑saving 16‑pin TSSOP, narrow SO, and PDIP packages. The MAX3093E operates from a +5 V supply, while the MAX3094E runs from a +3.3 V supply.
