AD9889B Rev. A is a high-performance HDMI/DVI transmitter compatible with HDMI v. 1.3, DVI v. 1.0, and HDCP v. 1.2 standards. It features a single 1.8V power supply, video/audio inputs accepting logic levels from 1.8V to 3.3V, support for digital video operation up to 165 MHz, programmable two-way color space converter, support for standard S/PDIF audio and 8-channel uncompressed audio, among other features.

AD9889 is a high-performance HDMI/DVI transmitter that supports HDMI 1.1 and HDCP 1.1. It uses a single 1.8V power supply, and video/audio inputs are compatible with 3.3V. It supports 80MHz video output and can support various video formats from 480i to 1080i and 720p. It supports RGB, YCbCr, DDR, ITU656 formats and automatically detects the input video format. It supports standard S/PDIF for stereo or compressed audio output and supports 8-channel LPCM I2S audio output up to 192kHz. It provides on-chip MPU for HDCP operations and on-chip I2C master for EDID reading. It supports 5V compatible I2C and MPD I/Os and does not require additional devices. It supports S/PDIF without the need for an audio master clock.
