Analog Devices AD8386 LCD Driver Datasheet
The AD8386 provides a fast, 10‑bit latched decimating digital input that drives twelve high‑voltage LCD outputs. It features high‑voltage drive, short‑circuit protection, 100 Ms/s data update rate, and a 35 ns settling time into 150 pF loads. The device includes voltage‑controlled video reference, contrast adjustment, and flexible logic for parallel operation.
The driver is offered in a 64‑lead 9 mm × 9 mm LFCSP_VQ package and operates from 0 °C to 85 °C. Static power dissipation is 1.4 W, with overload protection via an output current limiter and thermal protection circuit. Optimal thermal performance requires an exposed paddle connected to a PCB plane, thermal pads and via structures.
