Analog Devices AD780 High Precision Reference Datasheet
The AD780 is an ultra‑high precision band‑gap reference that provides a programmable 2.5 V or 3.0 V output from supply voltages between 4 V and 36 V. It features laser‑trimmed accuracy, ultralow drift (3 ppm/°C), low output noise (4 µV p‑p from 0.1 Hz to 10 Hz) and a low quiescent current (≈1 mA). The device can operate in series or shunt mode, allowing both positive and negative output voltages without external components.
Typical applications include high‑resolution ADCs, DACs, and any precision reference need where stability, low noise and temperature monitoring are required. The AD780 also offers a temperature‑output pin that can be used as a transducer, providing a voltage that varies linearly with temperature.
