Maxim MAX4901‑MAX4905 Analog Switch Datasheet

Datasheet 13 pages · 347 KB · EN

The MAX4901‑MAX4905 family are low‑on‑resistance analog switches that operate from a single +1.8 V to +5.5 V supply. The devices support negative‑signal capability, break‑before‑make switching and, for the MAX4905, an integrated comparator for headphone or mute detection. They are offered in space‑saving 8‑pin TDFN and 9‑bump UCSP packages and are rated for -40 °C to +85 °C.

The datasheet provides absolute maximum ratings, detailed electrical characteristics, dynamic switching parameters, pin descriptions, and package drawings. It also includes application notes on shunt‑resistor operation, comparator thresholds, and recommended power‑supply sequencing for reliable operation.
