The ADM3483/ADM3485/ADM3488/ADM3490/ADM3491 are 3.3V Slew Rate Limited, Half- and Full-Duplex, RS-485/RS-422 Transceivers from Analog Devices. They are compatible with 5V logic, meet EIA RS-422 and RS-485 standards, support data rates of 250kbps and 10Mbps, support half-duplex and full-duplex modes, and have low EMI and low power consumption. They are suitable for low-power RS-485/RS-422 applications such as telecommunications, industrial process control, and HVAC.

ADM3483/ADM3485/ADM3488/ADM3490/ADM3491 are low power, 3.3V supply RS-485/RS-422 transceivers that are interoperable with 5V logic and compliant with EIA RS-422 and RS-485 standards over the full common-mode range. The products offer multiple data rate options and support both half-duplex and full-duplex modes. ADM3483 and ADM3488 have reduced slew rates for low electromagnetic interference. In shutdown mode, ADM3483/ADM3485/ADM3491 have a supply current of only 2nA. Up to 32 transceivers can be supported on the bus, with a bus common-mode range of -7V to +12V.
