The ADM3483E‑ADM3491E family are 3.3 V, low‑power RS‑485/RS‑422 transceivers with ±15 kV ESD protection, offered in half‑ and full‑duplex versions for industrial communication, power‑metering, telecommunications and LAN applications.
Key specifications include data rates up to 12 Mbps, 12 kΩ receiver input impedance, up to 32 nodes on a bus, and shutdown current as low as 1 µA. Devices are supplied in 8‑lead or 14‑lead narrow SOIC packages and feature fail‑safe receiver design and thermal shutdown protection.
