Ricoh RP501K Series Step-down DC/DC Converter Datasheet
The RP501K Series are CMOS-based step-down DC/DC Converters featuring a built-in synchronous rectifier. These ICs integrate an oscillator, switching control circuit, reference voltage unit, error amplifier, soft-start circuit, and various protection circuits to enable easy composition of low ripple, high efficiency converters using only external inductors and capacitors.
Key features include a wide input voltage range from 2.5V to 5.5V and an output voltage adjustable from 1.0V to 3.3V with high accuracy (±1.5% or ±24mV). The series supports automatic PWM/VFM mode change or fixed PWM control via the MODE pin, includes a built-in peak current limit of typically 1.5A, and utilizes a DFN(PLP)25x27-10 package for high-density mounting.
