Panasonic AN8000MS Ripple Filter IC Datasheet
The AN8000MS is a ripple filter integrated circuit (IC) specifically designed for use in cellular phones. Its primary function is to reject the ripple component superimposed on the regulator output voltage. By reducing the difference between input and output voltages, it helps decrease the drop in the power supply voltage of the Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO), thereby improving the Carrier-to-Noise (C/N) and Signal-to-Noise (S/N) ratios for high-quality telephone communication. The device utilizes a PNP transistor for the pass transistor to achieve a low I/O drop voltage of 0.3 V and is packaged in a mini-type 6-pin MINI-6D package.
