Maxim MAX9703/MAX9704 Audio Amplifier Datasheet
The MAX9703 (mono) and MAX9704 (stereo) are filter‑less Class D audio power amplifiers that deliver Class AB performance with high efficiency, up to 78%‑88% depending on load. They feature a unique spread‑spectrum modulation mode that reduces EMI emissions and a differential input architecture that minimizes common‑mode noise.
These devices are offered in compact 32‑pin TQFN packages (5 mm×5 mm×0.8 mm for MAX9703, 7 mm×7 mm×0.8 mm for MAX9704) and operate over a temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C. Typical applications include LCD TVs, monitors, projectors, automotive audio, and handheld devices.
