Analog Devices AD8336 Variable Gain Amplifier Datasheet
The AD8336 is a general‑purpose, low‑noise variable gain amplifier (VGA) that operates from –55 °C to +125 °C. It offers a gain range of –14 dB to +46 dB (up to 60 dB with preamplifier) and a linear‑in‑dB gain scaling of 50 dB/V. The device supports single‑ended input and output, dual‑supply operation (+3 V to +12 V), and includes a power‑adjust pin for reduced quiescent consumption.
Key features include a small‑signal bandwidth of 115 MHz, large‑signal bandwidth of 80 MHz, a slew rate of 550 V/µs, and low voltage and current noise (3 nV/√Hz, 3 pA/√Hz). The AD8336 is supplied in a 16‑lead LFCSP package and is suited for industrial process control, high‑performance AGC, ultrasound, radar, and video applications.
