Maxim MAX3453E–MAX3456E USB Transceiver Datasheet
The MAX3453E–MAX3456E series are ±15 kV ESD‑protected USB‑compliant transceivers that interface low‑voltage ASICs with USB devices. They fully comply with USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 specifications, offering full‑speed (12 Mbps) and, for some variants, low‑speed (1.5 Mbps) operation. The devices operate from a logic supply (V L) as low as +1.65 V and include a logic‑selectable suspend mode that reduces current consumption to less than 40 µA.
These transceivers are available in 14‑pin TSSOP and 16‑pin thin QFN packages and operate over an extended temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C. Integrated features include internal pull‑up resistors, VBUS detection, enumerate function, and bus‑detect output, making them suitable for PDAs, PC peripherals, cellular phones, data cradles, and MP3 players.
