The MCR12M / MCR12N are Motorola thyristors designed primarily for half-wave AC control applications, such as motor controls, heating controls, and power supplies. They are rated for blocking voltages up to 800 volts, on-state currents up to 12 amperes, and peak surge currents up to 100 amperes. They are packaged in a standard TO-220AB package and have glass-passivated junctions for reliability and uniformity.
