Maxim MAX2045/MAX2046/MAX2047 High-Gain Vector Multipliers Datasheet
The MAX2045, MAX2046, and MAX2047 are low‑cost, fully integrated vector multipliers that adjust the magnitude and phase of RF signals. Each device is optimized for a specific frequency band (UMTS, DCS/PCS, or GSM) and features differential RF inputs and outputs, as well as an internal 2.5 V reference for single‑ended voltage‑mode operation.
These devices operate from a 4.75 V to 5.25 V single supply and are offered in a compact 5 mm × 5 mm, 32‑lead thin QFN package. Key specifications include ±0.2 dB gain flatness, ±1° phase flatness, 800 mW power consumption, and a continuous 360° phase control range. Applications include base‑station feed‑forward and predistortion amplifiers, RF magnitude/phase adjustment, RF cancellation loops, and beam‑forming systems.
