Analog Devices ADM8611/ADM8616/ADM8617/ADM8618 Supervisory Circuit Datasheet
This datasheet covers the ADM8611, ADM8616, ADM8617 and ADM8618 supervisory circuits from Analog Devices. They monitor power supply voltage levels and code execution integrity in microprocessor-based systems, generating a power-on-reset signal when the supply voltage rises to a preset threshold. The ADM8611 adds a debounced manual reset input, while the ADM8616 through ADM8618 include an on-chip watchdog timer that resets the microprocessor if it fails to strobe within a preset timeout period.
The parts differ in reset output configuration: push-pull active-low, open-drain active-low, or push-pull active-high. Each part is offered in nine reset threshold options from 1.58 V to 4.63 V, is specified over -40°C to +85°C, and comes in a 4-lead SC70 package. The document includes a selection table, specifications, absolute maximum ratings, pin descriptions, outline dimensions and ordering guides for all four parts.
