Analog Devices ADM5170 Octal Line Driver Datasheet
The ADM5170 octal line driver translates TTL/CMOS inputs to RS‑232E or RS‑423A levels and offers programmable output slew rates via an external resistor. It operates from a wide supply range (9‑15 V VDD, –9 to –15 V VSS) and features low power consumption, dropping from 500 mW to 40 mW when disabled.
Available in 28‑pin DIP and 28‑lead PLCC packages, the device includes ESD protection and short‑circuit protection. Detailed electrical specifications, absolute maximum ratings, and typical performance curves are provided for both RS‑232 and RS‑423 modes.
