Analog Devices ADM2485 High Speed Isolated RS-485 Transceiver Datasheet
The ADM2485 is a galvanically isolated RS‑485/RS‑422 transceiver that combines a three‑channel isolator, a three‑state differential line driver, and a differential input receiver in a single 16‑lead SOIC package. It operates from a 3.3 V or 5 V logic supply and provides an isolated 5 V bus side supply.
Designed for industrial field networks such as PROFIBUS, the device offers up to 50 nodes on a bus, high common‑mode transient immunity (>25 kV/μs), and thermal shutdown protection. It meets ANSI/TIA/EIA‑RS‑485‑A‑98, ISO 8482:1987(E) and UL 1577 safety standards.
