Analog Devices ADM2209E Datasheet
The ADM2209E is a rugged dual‑port RS‑232 line driver/receiver that operates from a single +12 V supply and includes an on‑chip charge‑pump DC‑DC converter to generate the required –12 V rail. It provides six drivers and ten receivers, supports data rates up to 460 kbps (920 kbps in some tests), and features a low‑current standby mode that keeps one receiver per port active.
The device complies with EMI/EMC directives (89/336/EEC), offers ESD protection up to –15 kV on I/O pins, and includes protection against electrical fast transients. It is supplied in a 38‑lead TSSOP package and is intended for use in personal computers, printers, modems and other peripheral equipment.
