The ADM2582E and ADM2587E are fully integrated signal‑and‑power isolated RS‑485/RS‑422 transceivers. They feature ±15 kV ESD protection, an integrated isoPower dc‑to‑dc converter, and operate from a single 3.3 V or 5 V supply. The devices support half‑ or full‑duplex operation, include active driver and receiver enable pins, and provide thermal shutdown and current‑limiting protection.
These transceivers are intended for industrial field networks and multipoint data‑transmission systems, allowing up to 256 nodes on a single bus.
