Analog Devices ADM2482E/ADM2487E Isolated RS-485 Transceiver Datasheet
The ADM2482E and ADM2487E are isolated data transceivers that provide +15 kV ESD protection and support high‑speed half‑duplex or full‑duplex communication on multipoint RS‑485/RS‑422 networks. They integrate an oscillator driver, a three‑state differential line driver, and a differential input receiver in a single iCoupler™ package, and are available in a 16‑lead wide‑body SOIC.
These devices are intended for industrial field networks, isolated RS‑485/RS‑422 interfaces, and other multipoint data transmission systems. They meet TIA/EIA‑485‑A‑98, ISO 8482:1987, UL 1577, and VDE certifications, and operate over a temperature range of –40 °C to +85 °C.
