Analog Devices AD7984 Datasheet
The AD7984 is an 18‑bit successive‑approximation analog‑to‑digital converter (ADC) that operates from a single 2.5 V supply. It provides a true differential input range and supports multiple logic levels (1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V, 5 V). The device includes a serial interface compatible with SPI, QSPI, Microwire and DSP protocols and can be daisy‑chained.
Key features include 1.33 MSPS throughput, 10.5 mW power dissipation at full speed, 99.7 dB dynamic range, and a 10‑lead MSOP or 10‑lead QFN (LFCSP) package. The datasheet also covers pin configurations, timing specifications, absolute maximum ratings, and layout recommendations for optimal analog‑digital separation on the PCB.
