Analog Devices ADP2102 Datasheet
The ADP2102 converts a 2.7 V to 5.5 V unregulated input to a lower regulated output with up to 95 % efficiency and 1 % accuracy. It is suited for USB‑powered devices, WLAN gateways, processor core power, digital cameras, PDAs, portable media players and GPS units. The converter operates at a typical 3 MHz frequency and uses only three external ceramic components, enabling small, low‑cost inductors and capacitors.
Key features include a low‑duty‑cycle operation, internal synchronous rectifier, soft‑start, power‑save mode, undervoltage lockout, current‑limit protection and thermal shutdown. The device is offered in fixed‑output versions (0.8 V to 1.875 V) and an adjustable version (0.8 V to 3.3 V), all in an 8‑lead LFCSP package (3 mm × 3 mm) rated for –40 °C to +85 °C.
