ADM101E is a tiny RS-232 transceiver designed for portable applications. It features a transmission rate of 460 kbit/s and is compatible with RS-232 input/output levels. The transceiver operates from a single 5V power supply and includes one driver and one receiver. It also incorporates an on-board DC-DC converter, eliminating the need for a negative power supply. The ADM101E is low power and has an ultralow power shutdown mode. It is suitable for mobile telephones, palmtop computers, PDAs, portable instrumentation, and GPS receivers.
