ABB ACS 6000 Medium Voltage Drive Manual
The ACS 6000 is ABB’s medium‑voltage drive for 3‑27 MW induction, synchronous or permanent‑magnet motors. Its modular design allows single‑motor or multi‑motor configurations with a common DC bus, delivering high efficiency, low noise and fast torque response. The drive uses IGCT power semiconductors and Direct Torque Control for precise speed and torque control.
The manual includes a data sheet with inverter type, rated output voltage, output frequency range, ambient temperature limits, enclosure class, and optional control interfaces such as Profibus, Modbus and DeviceNet. It also lists protective functions, braking options and optional hardware accessories for industrial and marine applications.
